Get ready for a delightful pop of juicy bright flavor when you bite into these little morsels. So easy to make, yet they seem so sophisticated! Paleo and gluten-free.

This is such a simple and elegant dessert. Its just bursting with fresh juices and chocolate. They just make my tastebuds dance and sing. These delightful morsels are great to share (if you can, I won't judge) and to have stashed away in your fridge for later. Be sure to watch the video below for another quick Paleo dessert idea.
Ingredients in these chocolate covered oranges (and substitutions)
- Chocolate Bar: loaded with antioxidants and healthy fats. I prefer an 80% cacao bar, but feel free to use your favorite chocolate bar here.
- Mandarin: loaded with vitamin C and juices, these make the dessert exotic. Feel free to substitute with tangerine or orange slices.
How to make this easy dessert
- Break the chocolate into pieces and put into the microwave for about 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds to prevent burning. (Alternatively you can melt in a pan on the stove over low heat, stirring frequently.)
- Peel the oranges.
- Once the chocolate is melted, dip the oranges into the chocolate and lay on a piece of parchment paper to harden. Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Making this chocolate treat ahead of time
