Want a super easy to make, delicious food gift idea for the holidays? Or just want something yummy to put on your pancakes or gluten-free or Paleo bread? I've got you covered! Enter Whipped Cinnamon Honey Almond Butter.
I was inspired to make this from seeing some Cinnamon Honey Butter recipes on Pinterest that looked amazing. However, they were actually just made with butter and I got it in my head that using a nut butter would be awesome. What a perfect topping for pancakes, let me tell you! Mmm mmm mmm….. It's so light and airy and flavorful. I also dare you to make this and not want to eat it by the spoonful.
This particular recipe is dairy-free since we personally try to avoid dairy due to my autoimmune issues, but if you don't have palm shortening on hand you could probably sub in some softened butter for the palm shortening. I'd store it in the fridge after that though if using butter.
You could also make it nut-free by using a sunflower seed butter. You probably have a Vegan friend or two so you if you are gifting this to them, you could make it Vegan by subbing the honey for maple syrup.

And if you perchance want to give this as a gift, I've got you covered for that too. I like to use a squat, wide 16 oz Ball pint jar for gifting – but please note that if you do that you'll need to DOUBLE the recipe below. Use a half pint jar for the recipe below as written.
