Let me ask you a question…
Can you remember the last time you felt great, like truly great – where symptoms didn’t rule your day or make the “bad” days outnumber the good ones?
Where you didn’t feel like you were helpless, scared of what else might go wrong, and just plain sick of feeling unwell all the freakin time.
You wonder what’s really going on with you, whether these things that are wrong will get worse, or whether they’re already so bad that perhaps you’re dying.
You’ve gone through doctors upon doctors and probably countless tests with few answers and even fewer solutions.
And if you’re one of the “lucky” ones to get a diagnosis of autoimmune disease? What really is that? Why is your body attacking itself? Why YOU? What the heck did you do to deserve this?
Perhaps you’ve heard about how the Paleo or AIP diets and some lifestyle changes can help get you relief, but they sound daunting and complicated.
You already feel like a burden on your loved ones, not being able to be the wife, mom, sister, friend or support that you feel like you should be. Adding a whole new way of eating to the mix… it sounds like that would just make it REALLY hard. Like…. a life sentence.
Luckily, it doesn’t have to be.
I believe that eating a diet to relieve your autoimmune disease symptoms doesn’t have to be difficult.
That's why Thriving Autoimmune was created – to teach and show you how to:
- Understand what your disease is and why you have it
- Know what diets are best for YOU in your own particular situation and severity of symptoms
- Feel confident to actually do the diet you choose
- Make that diet SO much easier than you expect it to be
- Implement the lifestyle changes that will help you just as much as food AND make all of your changes stick
- Be inspired to eat foods that are best for you so that you can live an energized, full life
You can be that vibrant, truly great-feeling woman again, and I can show you how.

“When I was in my late teens and working at a fast food restaurant people often commented that I sang as I worked (I didn't realize it until it was pointed out to me). In the last month I have found myself singing again as I am working around the house! Somewhere along the way the energy for singing left me; it was all I could do to get through the day's tasks of taking care of my family anything beyond that was overwhelming. You helped me to get ME back, thank you.”
“I want to thank you very much for the dramatic shift you encouraged me to take. Last October I was in a really rough spot of Hashimoto symptoms. You gave me the courage to start looking deeper at diet. Since October I have eliminated several foods and found several I never guessed I was sensitive to! I have bounds more energy now!”
… waking up refreshed, bounding out of bed, pain-free, energetically greeting your family, friends, and co-workers as you go about your day. You feel clear-headed, people comment on how you’re glowing, and you still feel great even on those days where you *might* have scheduled a few too many things.
Bad days are largely a thing of the past as conquering to-do lists, exercise, lunches with friends, trips with your family, and chasing your kids around are now typical, normal things you do with ease.
This doesn’t have to just be a dream.

Michele Spring, Health Coach and Founder of Thriving Autoimmune
Something snapped in me back in 2014, the day I sat in a chair on my patio, listlessly watching my young toddlers play in the grass. When my youngest asked me to come play, I had to, for the umpteenth time that month, say no because I didn’t have the energy to get out of the chair. It was heartbreaking. That was no way for a mom to live. Nor was bearing the heart palpitations, hair loss, irregular periods, low-grade fevers, chills, brain fog and the myriad of other symptoms of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis I felt but was too scared to speak out loud.
That day I decided I had to make a change. I may have been alive, but I wasn’t living. Despite having gone from doctor to doctor without answers or solutions, I researched and searched and finally found a helpful doctor who put me on the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol (AIP diet). It was rough, not gonna lie. This was back even before anyone knew about the diet and hardly any recipes existed, so options were limited, bland, and took forever to make. I sometimes felt like it was a second full-time job! Yet, as I looked at my kids I knew I couldn’t give up so I started to make systems and strategies – and delicious recipes – to make it so much easier.
Now I’m so thankful I persevered because it helped me go from that helpless mom to one who camps, hikes rigorous mountain trails with my family, loves yoga, Pilates, and Barre workouts, volunteers for hours every week at school, and best of all – plays with my kids for as long as I want. All of my symptoms are gone and I feel a vibrancy and zest for life that I didn’t even know was possible!

” I have been having alot of issues over the years and the past year I've been struggling a bit with thyroid (they say I have Hashimoto's) and ” heart ” issues. Since they can't tell me much about the heart, other than a leaky valve, I was getting desperate to feel better, so I decided, that I would at least try this diet ( although the doctor said diet won't help). So having the information you share, plus the recipes, has definitely been very helpful!!”
“I am just thankful to have stumbled upon you on YouTube. I had to start AIP the fast route to minimize an intense flare up. If I were to listen solely to my MD, I’d be loaded up on meds by now. So I chose a more wholistic path. Hired a naturopath, changed my diet to eliminate inflammatory foods, and started yoga again. I am already seeing some positive benefits a week and a half in.
Thank you for taking the guess work out of AIP meal planning for me. I’m going to do some batch cooking today.”
